Before Your Appointment
To ensure every guest receives the calm, personalized experience Nails by K is known for, we’ve outlined a few policies below. These guidelines help protect appointment times, maintain a relaxing environment, and ensure the highest level of service for every client.

Services Offered
At Nails by K, services are focused on structured nail enhancements designed for durability, nail health, and a clean, refined finish.
Services offered include:
- Gel Manicures
- Structured Gel Manicures
- Hard Gel Overlays & Extensions
- Acrylic Overlays & Extensions
Pedicure services are not offered.
New Client Policy
To ensure proper application and longevity of all services, new clients must arrive with bare nails free of any existing product.
This includes:
- Acrylic or hard gel enhancements
- Dip powder
- Gel polish
- Press-ons / Gel-X
- Structured gel / BIAB from other salons
This policy allows every set to be built properly from the natural nail for the best possible retention and finish.
Foreign Product Policy
For quality and safety reasons, services are not performed over existing work from other salons.
Fills or maintenance will only be performed on enhancements originally applied by Nails by K.
Removal Services
Removal of enhancements applied by Nails by K is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance by direct request.
This service is reserved for existing clients and is not available through online booking.
Service Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are ever dissatisfied with any service, we will gladly make the corrections necessary to exceed your expectations within 7 days of your original services.
Enhancements and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for 7 days after your appointment; excluding breakages. If you lose an enhancement or notice chips or lifting in the first 7 days, please call us to schedule a free repair. (Repairs must be arranged within 3 days of notification to the salon to be considered complimentary fixes.)
Repairs after 7 days or for breakages, tears, and corner breaks without notifications are charged accordingly.
Nail art, repairs, reshaping, and additional services must be selected at the time of booking.
Additional services requested during the appointment may not be accommodated due to scheduling limitations.
Inspiration photos are always welcome and can be sent prior to your appointment.
Refunds & Gift Cards
Refunds
If you are not happy with your nails, please let us know before you pay. We will adjust them to your satisfaction. No refunds will be given after you have left the salon.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are sold in the form of e-gift cards (electronic gift cards) and are only available for purchase online through Booksy. Once a gift card (e-gift card) is purchased, the purchaser will receive an email. The e-gift card will be stored digitally on Booksy under the purchaser's account. Gift cards have no expiration date and can be transferred to another person.
There are no refunds on gift card purchases.
Nail Art & Add-On Services
Nail art, repairs, reshaping, and additional services must be selected at the time of booking.
Additional services requested during the appointment may not be accommodated due to scheduling limitations.
Inspiration photos are always welcome and can be sent prior to your appointment.
Pricing Policy
Service pricing may be adjusted periodically to reflect product costs, continuing education, and service enhancements. Current pricing is always available through Booksy.
Booking & Scheduling
Cancelation & No-Show Policy
Cancellations
We want to make sure that you receive the best service possible during your scheduled appointment. To help us achieve this, please notify us before 24 hours of your appointment if you need to cancel or adjust the time.
We understand that sometimes emergencies happen, and it’s not always possible to give adequate notice when you can’t make an appointment. However, please be aware that if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a cancelation fee of 50% of the service price.
No-Shows
If you make an appointment that you do not show up for and/or fail to cancel, you will be charged 100% of the service price.
Appointments can no longer be booked for those who do not show up to their appointment without a deposit.
Late Arrivals
Because each appointment time is reserved to provide the best service possible, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you‘re running late.
Scheduled appointments have a 15 minute grace period to allow for unpredicted traffic or parking difficulties. If you anticipate that you will be later than 15 minutes, please call or text ahead within a reasonable timeframe to see if we have the availability to complete your service in full. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse partial or complete services.
Repeated tardiness may incur a deposit fee to rebook the missed appointment.
During Your Visit
Guests & Children
No extra guests or children unless they're receiving a service.
Consultation & Client Intake
Before beginning your service, a brief consultation is completed to discuss nail goals, assess nail health, and ensure the service is suitable for your natural nails.
Clients are encouraged to share any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or changes in health that may affect the service.
This step allows every set to be customized safely and intentionally.
Illness Policy
If you are feeling sick with signs of cold or flu-like symptoms including fever, sneezing, and coughing, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. If you are visibly sick, you may be asked to wear a mask or reschedule on arrival.
Illness in the shop results in canceled appointments and spreads it to our families, as well as exposing those who may have compromised immunity.
Additional Information
Age Requirements
Any service performed on a minor must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Artificial nail enhancements will not be done on anyone under 16 without the parent or guardian's approval.
For minors aged 16 & 17, the parent or guardian is required to come in with them to sign a waiver on their behalf in order for the service to be performed.
Privacy Policy
Customer information in our files is used to improve your service and send important messages as well as marketing communications. We do not, under any circumstances, share this information with third-parties.

Right to Refuse
- Anyone with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious.
- Anyone who may have nail conditions that should not be serviced.
- Anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area.
- Anyone in ill health that we may suspect may be contagious, or we fear could be harmed by our service.
- Anyone more than 15 minutes late for an appointment.
- Anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to others.
- Anyone believed to be intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.
